Successful Completion of the Automated Welding System Project for AUSTAL USA

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the project with Austal USA, where IMG Ingenieurtechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH, alongside partners KRANENDONK, Gräbener Maschinentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, and CORIMPEX SRL, provided state-of-the-art Panel Production line. The high-tech and automated overall system consists of a micro panel line and a flat panel line, which produces the panels for the block construction method commonly used in shipbuilding. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the virtual collaboration led to the delivery of advanced technology, significantly boosting Austal's production capacity. The project was completed on schedule, and the new systems are now operational, enabling the efficient production of shipbuilding components.
